The focus is on the high customer benefit of digital process optimisations and high-performance products

The CUTMETALL group of companies will not only be presenting high-performance products for granulators, shredders and shredding machines at IFAT 2022. The internationally leading manufacturer of industrial knives and screens will also present groundbreaking digital solutions for optimised business processes at the world's leading trade fair for environmental technologies (Hall B6, Stand 134). "At IFAT, we will demonstrate to guests that digitalisation has also found its way into the shredding and recycling industry and that we enable our customers to realise the resulting efficiency potential," explains Alexander Klär, Managing Director of CUTMETALL Sales GmbH, one of the main objectives of the group's trade fair appearance from 30 May to 03 June in Munich. "In this way, CUTMETALL is underpinning its approach of being a partner, process optimiser and problem solver for its customers in the waste disposal and recycling industry."

New CUTMETALL app optimises materials management processes

The free mobile app for smartphones and tablets enables easy access to the innovative CUTMETALL online shop, regardless of time and place. But the app offers even more: it optimises the work processes between purchasing and warehousing. For this purpose, CUTMETALL has provided its articles with bar or QR codes. These can be found on the delivery notes, the offers as well as on specially created product image catalogues. Equipped with a smartphone and the app, employees in the warehouse can now scan the codes of the CUTMETALL products to be ordered quickly and without errors. The app transfers the data to the company's shopping basket in the protected area of the CUTMETALL online shop. In the purchasing department, the responsible employees* can see on their monitors which articles the warehouse has placed in the shopping basket. They then decide whether and when which products are ordered and in what quantities. "Scanning eliminates product mix-ups and saves the digitisation of handwritten order notes," says Alexander Klär, citing the most important advantages.

The CUTMETALL online shop: smart service tool for purchasing

The CUTMETALL online shop not only contains a product catalogue that is unique in its breadth and depth. As a full-range supplier with the highest market coverage, CUTMETALL offers products for the machines of 55 renowned manufacturers. In addition, the online shop contains functions that represent a high added value for the customer's purchasing department. A groundbreaking feature is the possibility to digitally record and manage their machinery as well as its material stocks. Two big advantages: After a click on a registered machine, all spare and wear parts from CUTMETALL that fit this machine type appear. The long search for suitable products and article numbers is no longer necessary. And if purchasers fall ill or leave the company, colleagues can immediately order the required components for their machines without lengthy instructions and research.

Particularly economical: high-performance products in hybrid design

At IFAT, CUTMETALL plus Carbide Germany GmbH will explain the numerous advantages of its industrial knives in hybrid design. "Compared to conventional knives made of tool steel, they offer unrivalled performance" emphasises Managing Director: Christian Hoffmann. "Our knives, developed and produced in Germany, represent an upgrade for our customers' shredding technology. Because of their low risk of breakage and their cutting performance, they not only optimise the service life and the quality of the output of their plants. At the same time, they reduce power consumption and lower wear due to lower machine vibrations."

Christian Hoffmann and Alexander Klär are looking forward to presenting the latest CUTMETALL developments to visitors at IFAT.
